Where you ask? I am heading to sunny Florida for a 5 day lighting workshop and I can’t wait!! One of the things I enjoy most is being in the company of my fellow photographers, the creative energy is inspiring and we all learn so much from each other. This should be pretty intense 5:30 am photo shoots followed by classes from 8:30 – 5:30 and then wrapped up with sunset photo shoots and then time in the lab to work on photoshop skills. I can’t wait to try out everything I learn on all of my new spring clients. The office will be closed this week, but I will have access to e-mail (just not a lot of time). As, you know I can not make a blog post without images so I will leave you with 2 that remind me it’s spring. The first is of some new buds blooming on a tree in my backyard (the changing seasons always amazes me). The 2nd image I may get in trouble for, it’s my son shaving for the first time with his Daddy and puppy looking on in the mirror (shhhhh don’t tell him I posted it, he never looks at my blog.
Susan G. Komen Philadelphia grantee luncheon – covered by Moments Caught Photography

The Philadelphia Affiliate Of Susan G. Komen Awards $2.6 Million In Grants To Local Organizations.
49 grantees were honored for their efforts to end breast cancer at recognition luncheon at the Union League. It was a wonderful afternoon, and you could just feel the positive energy in the room. I was thrilled to once again cover a Komen event, I find this to be one of the more rewarding perks of being a local photographer.

Anyone who knows me knows that as much as I like my life here in the Philly suburbs, I am not a cold weather girl. Moments Caught Photography will be closed from December 23rd to January 2nd, and I will be in sunny Aruba with my family. I am looking so forward to the sun, relaxing with my kids and hubby, and taking some pictures of my own children. I will be back with lot’s of images of my kids to bore you with, I promise. Please leave me an email or voicemail, and I will get back to you as soon as I return. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and wish you a year filled with priceless moments (hopefully caught by me) ha-ha get it moments caught by me, moments caught. Oh no, I’ve been hanging out with my sister in law to long… I’m laughing at my own jokes (clearly time for a vacation). I will leave you with some images of the ice I am leaving behind.

I couldn’t be more jealous of these 3 girls. All I ever wanted growing up was a sister (I have 3 brothers, who I wouldn’t trade for the world… but). These 3 girls are so lucky to have each other and the best part is, I think they realize and appreciate it. Each girl has her own unique spirit which shines through beautifully. Just see for yourself….

Well, this Mom has done something right? I think I am going to hold her pictures hostage until she shares her secrets on how to raise such a well adjusted guy. Mr. “K” is not only handsome, polite and a great athlete, but check out the hair on that kid. More importantly the love and respect he showed his Mom was great to see and I don’t think it had anything to do with the fact that she took him to see Coldplay the night before.
