Always honored to be a part of Susan G. Komen! Philadelphia commercial photographer

One of the more rewarding things about being a photographer is being able to use my passion for photography to help out and try to make a difference. Susan G. Komen is one of my favorite organizations that I am involved in, and yesterday I was honored to be asked to once again cover the grantee luncheon. This year is was held in the gorgeous Lowes Hotel, and it was a wonderful and inspiring afternoon enjoyed by all.

Local actress Brooke Stacy Mills plays the part of Gerard Butlers wife in the upcoming thriller “Law Abiding Citizen”

I tortured another baby today…

What a sweet little boy “W” is. He was so good, he just kept falling back to sleep every time I disturbed him. I couldn’t wait to get home and see these images, I have tons to go through but wanted to get some on here for you guys right away. Enjoy the sneak peak, and more importantly cherish every moment with your special little guy.

A mother’s dream…

Well, this Mom has done something right? I think I am going to hold her pictures hostage until she shares her secrets on how to raise such a well adjusted guy. Mr. “K” is not only handsome, polite and a great athlete, but check out the hair on that kid. More importantly the love and respect he showed his Mom was great to see and I don’t think it had anything to do with the fact that she took him to see Coldplay the night before. Here is your sneak peak E family, enjoy!!!

I had such a great time with this family!

These guys were like a real modern day brady bunch, but better!  We had such a great time during this photo session.  We met on a HOT almost summer night at one of my personal favorite restaurants to eat at and photograph The Water Works    http://www.thewaterworksrestaurant.com/main.cfm

They had a lot to celebrate, a big anniversary, a Mom’s retirement and Fathers Day!  The kids thought of everything and planned a beautiful evening filled with the kind of laughter and love that every family should have.   Myself being a sappy, romantic, pushover loved every minute of photographing this families antics.  Here is your sneak peak, I have so many incredible moments documented it’s going to be very hard to choose.

I’m a Phillyist Framed photography contest winner!

Well, I never do this… I actually entered one of my photos in a contest and won!  The contest was through a blog all about Philly and the photo contest was focused on showcasing Philadelphia.  Best yet my winning entry is an image of one of my son’s water skiing.  The bad news is my other son is not at all happy that my photo of his brother won and not one of him.  The good news is, he is allowing me to photograph him more in the hopes that a picture of him will win something and be featured in a gallery too.  The opening night for this gallery of images depicting Philadelphia is Friday June 27th and below you can find the info:  Phillyist Framed Opening Night Studio 34 Yoga | Healing | Arts (4522 Baltimore Avenue, upstairs) Friday, June 27, 2008, 7-9PM $5 suggested donation All ages (but we’ll be carding for beer)

This Philadelphia family photographer makes sure even the family dog gets her 15 minutes of fame!

That’s right Mocha (the dog) is truly one of the family down to the matching wardrobe.  I have to be honest and say that she (Mocha) was my best subject to date she followed direction perfectly, let down her guard and showed her true self.  The rest of the family all followed her lead and we got some great shots.  Enjoy your sneak peak “E” family.
