Always honored to be a part of Susan G. Komen! Philadelphia commercial photographer

One of the more rewarding things about being a photographer is being able to use my passion for photography to help out and try to make a difference. Susan G. Komen is one of my favorite organizations that I am involved in, and yesterday I was honored to be asked to once again cover the grantee luncheon. This year is was held in the gorgeous Lowes Hotel, and it was a wonderful and inspiring afternoon enjoyed by all.

Aspiring actress updates her head shot! Philadelphia commercial and children’s photographer

This young lady is just oozing talent, in fact I have already been contacted by some of my “connections” inquiring about this vivacious young lady (and it’s easy to see why). She is so comfortable in front of the camera, and her eyes really speak to you. I love when you can really capture the depth of a person through their eyes, especially someone so young. I have a feeling we have a major star on our hands here!

Philadelphia premier of Law Abiding Citizen… Philadelphia commercial photographer

Philadelphia got a little taste of Hollywood last night at the premier of the thriller Law Abiding Citizen!
The film directed by F. Gary Gray and starring Jamie Foxx, Gerard Butler, Leslie Bibb, Regina Hall, Bruce McGill, and Viola Davis to name a few is sure to be a big hit! It is a grip the edge of your seat, nail biting, heart racing film that is at the same time intelligent and thought provoking. The film also featured some new talent like Emerald-Angel Young and Reno Laquintano as well as local talent like Brooke Stacy Mills all of whom I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of, their performance was noteworthy to say the least. Of course the city’s own queen of the film industry Sharon Pinkenson was also in attendance which only added to the excitement of the evening.

“law abiding citizen” movie trailer is here! “Philadelphia photographer, Moments Caught Photography”

You may remember the recent post about actress Brooke Stacy Mills and her updated head shots. Brooke was part of the all star cast for this upcoming thriller, playing the part of Clyde’s wife in F. Gary Gray’s Law Abiding Citizen.
The movie stars none other than Gerard Butler, and Jamie Foxx and was filmed right here in Philadelphia. The trailer has been released and you can see it here at Moments Caught Photography. Enjoy, I know I can’t wait until the October 16th release!!

A Philadelphia family gets a new look and then some… “Philadelphia commercial Photographer, Moments Caught Photography”

This shoot was for a magazine article featuring the new beautiful and more importantly functional home of a Philadelphia family. Meyers Constructs, Inc did the renovation with functionality in mind. This busy professional family had limited space to work with, and wanted their home to reflect their own individual taste as well as lend itself to their lifestyle. As you can see by the images below, all was accomplished. The kitchen (the true heart of any home) flows perfectly allowing for everyone to get involved in not only the prepping of meals, but some good old fashion reading and family bonding. Kudos go out to Myers Construct who I may just be calling for my next project. ps. the family tells me they were a joy to work with!!!

late but long… Susan G. Komen Race for the cure, Philadelphia. Philadelphia photographer

I’m trying to make up for this post being so late by posting extra pictures. Once again I covered the Susan G. Komen Race for the cure in Philadelphia on Mothers day. This is one of the most rewarding things I am able to do with my photography and this year it became even more rewarding because my youngest son joined me! What that means is he got up at 6am with me and tagged along for hrs as I took hundreds of pictures, he helped point out great shots and he really made my day! See if you can spot him in the picture with 3 random women we don’t know who just grabbed him for the shot.
