Love watching these girls grow up into such beautiful people… Main Line family photographer

I have known these girls since they were born, well actually even before (Mom and I were pregnant at the same time). One of the most rewarding things about my job is watching families grow, not just grow up but actually grow as people and as a family. Watching this family who happens to be very dear to my heart become such beautiful people has been an honor, their obvious beauty may be on the outside, but trust me when I tell you that what is inside is the real treasure.

I can’t even believe how much these two have grown up… Main Line family photographer

This young man was one of my younger son’s “best friends” for a short period of time in pre-school (you know how important those pre-school friends can be) and look at him now. Mr. J is a bright, poised, funny, and somewhat dramatic cool guy who is not afraid to hug his Mom (gotta love that). Big sister has turned into a beautiful person herself on the inside as well as the outside and she has an interest in photography (so, I was totally into that). The whole family understands the meaning of giving back and are doing so in a wonderful but difficult way. They have committed to training a “canine companion” in the hopes of enriching someone’s life through the companionship of a dog. What this means is that they train a dog from a puppy for approximately a year and then have to give it back so that it may fulfill it’s job of helping someone in need. Anyone who has a dog, knows how attached a family gets to the canine member of the family, so I really applaud them in this very tough, but very important process. The family wanted not just family pictures, but pictures with the dog they will not be keeping as well as their own family dog. I have to say, this is a family I’m proud to know!

Getting some girl time in…. Main Line family photographer

As most of you know I am the mother of 2 boys, so it’s always a treat for me to get to hang out with girls for a change! I have known the father of these 2 gorgeous girls since I was the same age as they are now, and he even brought my high school graduation picture in to rub it in. These girls are not only gorgeous, but bright, interesting and get this… sweet ?? I know, what is their secret? Ms. “L” is getting ready to celebrate an important milestone, her Bat Mitzvah so this was a little pre-celebration photo session. I know she is going to do a great job and her whole family will be very proud! Enjoy your sneak peak!

Introducing… Friends 4 life photography! Philadelphia family and senior photographer

Friend’s 4 life photography is an idea I’ve had brewing for some time. The concept is to celebrate friendship or to be more precise BFFs. Maybe this stems from the fact that I have had the same best friend since I was 12 years old, or the fact that I am still close with many of my camp friends, it could be that the minute I met my sister in law 19 years ago she became my “true sister” in every way. What ever my motivation, I think girlfriends are everything at any age and this relationship should be cherished, celebrated and immortalized forever! With all of this in mind, I introduce a new type of photo shoot to the photography market, I’m calling it “ The friends 4 life” session.

What is it… it’s what ever you want it to be?
No rules other than these should be your nearest and dearest, your BFF, your posse, your camp friends or your sister. No limit on numbers, but realize the camera doesn’t lie.
What age group is this best for? Anyone who has a best friend, you know who you are. Best friends come in all age groups from 5 to 95 (and beyond I’m sure). Where do we do the session? The sessions will be either at my studio or an outdoor location we come up with together.

Cost: $150 per person (minimum 2 people) includes one 5×7 per person plus a low-resolution file for Face book or other social media (must be the same image for every person in group) plus a 10% discount on additional prints!

Some additional ideas for a “friends 4 life session”
- Young girls birthday party (girls can play America’s next top model with their BFF’s)
- Senior sessions (combine an individual senior session with your BFF to get the best of both worlds)
-Camp reunion celebration
-Wine and cheese night out with the girls (studio only)
-Special Birthday’s (you know the biggies, sweet 16, 21, 30, 40, 50 and on up)
-Graduation gift (great to capture those special friendships before heading off to college)
-Bachelorette celebration
… The list goes on and on

“sisters by chance, friends by choice” Philadelphia family photographer…

Don’t you just love that quote? My sister in law gave me a plaque with that saying on it, and I have it hanging in my dressing area (it always makes me smile). Ok, enough about me… These 2 sisters are truly as connected as twins, they finish each others sentences, and the bond they have is so obvious. I have to also mention how refreshing it is to see two young gorgeous girls, who really seem comfortable in their own skin, who don’t need to put on airs or dress a certain way for attention. “A” parents, you’re doing something right!!!

A real beauty both inside and out… Main Line family photographer

Ms. “S” has known what she wanted since the day she was born (exactly one month after my son, I might add). A deep soul, a beautiful face, a kind heart, and innate knowledge beyond her years will all aid her well in reaching her goals. I am honored to play a small part in her journey, and I only ask for 10% when she is a big star… LOL
Check out the range she shows in these sneak peaks from our shoot!

Giving 18 a good name… Philadelphia family photographer

This young woman gives me hope that my own two might just turn out ok after all. What a together, self confident, unique girl Ms. “N” is. I shouldn’t be surprised with such a cool and loving Mom, but “N” really has it all! She knows just who she is and isn’t about to be anything less. I must also mention the very special relationship between Mother and daughter, I think someone is going to miss her best friend when she goes off to collage in the fall. Oh, and of course how could I forget to mention the dog who holds a very special part in “N”s heart.
