“sisters by chance, friends by choice” Philadelphia family photographer…

Don’t you just love that quote? My sister in law gave me a plaque with that saying on it, and I have it hanging in my dressing area (it always makes me smile). Ok, enough about me… These 2 sisters are truly as connected as twins, they finish each others sentences, and the bond they have is so obvious. I have to also mention how refreshing it is to see two young gorgeous girls, who really seem comfortable in their own skin, who don’t need to put on airs or dress a certain way for attention. “A” parents, you’re doing something right!!!

A real beauty both inside and out… Main Line family photographer

Ms. “S” has known what she wanted since the day she was born (exactly one month after my son, I might add). A deep soul, a beautiful face, a kind heart, and innate knowledge beyond her years will all aid her well in reaching her goals. I am honored to play a small part in her journey, and I only ask for 10% when she is a big star… LOL
Check out the range she shows in these sneak peaks from our shoot!

Giving 18 a good name… Philadelphia family photographer

This young woman gives me hope that my own two might just turn out ok after all. What a together, self confident, unique girl Ms. “N” is. I shouldn’t be surprised with such a cool and loving Mom, but “N” really has it all! She knows just who she is and isn’t about to be anything less. I must also mention the very special relationship between Mother and daughter, I think someone is going to miss her best friend when she goes off to collage in the fall. Oh, and of course how could I forget to mention the dog who holds a very special part in “N”s heart.

The edgy side of Moments Caught Photography… Philadelphia photographer

Although children’s photography is really my passion there is a whole other side to Moments Caught Photography, I like to call it the edgy side… A prime example is the photo’s of gorgeous Ms. “A” shown here. We tried to show both sides of this young woman, and I think we did just that.

Spring is in the office….

Although the weather might not know it yet, the clients do. It seems like overnight people got the bug, and with that comes the frantic rush to secure their spring photo session. I for one can’t wait to get outside with my clients, see the flowers and feel the sunshine again. March is totally booked, April is just about booked and believe it or not May has 4 spots left. While all of this is wonderful it also means that I became behind again in my blogging, and I am really going to make an effort to get back in the habit. There are several sessions that never made it to the blog at all so here are a few fun ones that suffered from my own spring fever.

Studio Closed until 2009!

I will see and or talk to everyone next year, I love saying that!!! In case you didn’t receive my holiday card, here it is. If you didn’t make the front this year, there’s always next year. This will be a Moments Caught Tradition!

In the middle of the holiday crunch…

I must apologize to my blog followers and recent clients, but this is crunch time for most photographers. What does this mean? Basically I am eating, sleeping, and breathing holiday orders, and holiday cards so that everyone has there orders in time. Blog posts have had to take a backseat to orders getting placed in time to ensure holiday arrivals. As you know I am unable to make a blog post without a photo, so here is a personal one. This is my oldest son who performed at world cafe live this past sunday or as I like to call him, “my little rock star”
