I couldn’t blog about these little cuties until their Dad got his surprise gift…

I had to be patient and wait to blog these photos because this was a surprise birthday gift for their Daddy. Well Daddy got his gift and loved it, I might add so now I can share with you. This was a fun session for many reasons, I love photographing girlie girls and boy’s who are all boy and that is what this session was all about. We couldn’t keep the little guy still for more than 30 seconds, he was searching for frogs in every corner and the little miss was so cooperative and interested in all the beauty around her. These guys were a pleasure and I look forward to photographing more of this fun family. Here is one of my favorites and a collage of each child we made up for Dad!

I had such a great time with this family!

These guys were like a real modern day brady bunch, but better!  We had such a great time during this photo session.  We met on a HOT almost summer night at one of my personal favorite restaurants to eat at and photograph The Water Works    http://www.thewaterworksrestaurant.com/main.cfm

They had a lot to celebrate, a big anniversary, a Mom’s retirement and Fathers Day!  The kids thought of everything and planned a beautiful evening filled with the kind of laughter and love that every family should have.   Myself being a sappy, romantic, pushover loved every minute of photographing this families antics.  Here is your sneak peak, I have so many incredible moments documented it’s going to be very hard to choose.

I’m a Phillyist Framed photography contest winner!

June 23, 2008 – 8:19 am

Well, I never do this… I actually entered one of my photos in a contest and won!  The contest was through a blog all about Philly and the photo contest was focused on showcasing Philadelphia.  Best yet my winning entry is an image of one of my son’s water skiing.  The bad news is my other son is not at all happy that my photo of his brother won and not one of him.  The good news is, he is allowing me to photograph him more in the hopes that a picture of him will win something and be featured in a gallery too.  The opening night for this gallery of images depicting Philadelphia is Friday June 27th and below you can find the info:  Phillyist Framed Opening Night Studio 34 Yoga | Healing | Arts (4522 Baltimore Avenue, upstairs) Friday, June 27, 2008, 7-9PM $5 suggested donation All ages (but we’ll be carding for beer)
