Hard to believe this was just over a week ago…
September 12, 2009 – 1:40 pm
Looking outside the last few day’s, it’s hard to even remember summer, but these images are pure summer family fun! What a great family! The twins are just gorgeous as you can see, but what I enjoyed even more was their unique twin connection which you can just feel by watching them. Even though they are twins they are very obviously two completely different individuals each with her own spirit shining through. Then their is Mr. “Q” an obviously wonderful, loving big brother (a job he seems to take very seriously). Mr. “Q” also has a very innate ability to “work it” he came up with fun, cool poses all on his own and he rocked them all! Add all this up with 2 parents who seem very in love and I would say this is one very blessed family.

A rare site around here in recent years

Worth the drive through a snow storm…
January 21, 2009 – 1:31 pm
This new family lives about an hour away, and we had our first real snowstorm but it was truly worth it. I swear I’m going to change my business name from Moments Caught Photography to Beautiful people photography. I knew I was in trouble when Mom opened the door 10 day’s after giving birth with a totally flat stomach, and then I saw the gorgeous head of hair on little Miss “A” Once again I have too many gorgeous images to choose from so it’s going to be a long blog post. It was hard to take a bad photo of this family as you will see…

Couldn’t resist posting this!

Since all the boy’s in my life are avid skiers and “powder lovers” I shouldn’t be surprised that even my 4 legged little boy loves him some powder. While my husband and son’s were away in Utah on a boy’s only ski weekend we got some of our own powder here in Philly. When I told my husband it had snowed he said, “oh, please take my dog out in the snow and run around with him” in a pleading voice I might add. Here is the proof that I followed directions, otherwise I might be doubted. My little Reggae tearing it up in the snow on Monday…
Oh, and by the way I don’t think there is anything more difficult to photograph than a 7 pound white fluff ball running full speed in 3 inches of white snow at 6:45 pm in Philadelphia… no light, no contras and major motion plus some cold shaking hands by me.
ohhh, I just couldn’t decide?

This has got to be the hardest part of my job, picking my favorites for the blog. You will see why when you see this cutie pie! You can barely tell that Mom is expecting another little girl this spring, the only thing that gives it away is her beautiful glow. I know I can’t wait to meet your new little bundle and get another chance to photograph this family. I think Mom and Dad are going to have a great little helper in Miss “A” so that should make the transition much easier. Well, I hope you enjoy these images as much as I have while editing them!

Our family trip to Aruba!
January 3, 2009 – 6:51 pm
Happy 2009 everyone! I love the start of a new year almost as much as the start of a new school year, a clean slate and endless possibilities! Also a time to take stock in the things that matter most to you, family, friends and health. What a great way for us to end 2008, every year we go away for Christmas vacation with out brother and sister in law and my niece and nephew. We are very blessed to be so close to each other and the kids feel more like siblings than cousins. Here are a few shots from our vacation… Oh and just to clarify, the big kid kite surfing, the flamingos, the iguanas, and the pelicans are not related to us just great photography subjects to keep me occupied.
