A helping hand, just because…. Philadelphia family photographer

I just had to write about an experience I had the other day… As many of you might know I have a new studio, so I have been very busy trying to set it all up as quickly as possible. The other day, I found an awesome couch that was just perfect for my new space. It was loaded into my SUV and off I went, very excited about my new purchase. I pulled up to the studio and realized there was no way I was getting it up my stairs by myself, but waiting is not one of my strong suits. Just then I spotted to young men walking towards me, smoking a cigarette with the low slung jeans that seem to be so popular. Now, I have never been shy so I asked if they would be willing to help me and that of course I would pay them. They both looked at me and said, “we would be happy to help and you don’t need to pay us”? Well true to their word, they helped me and wouldn’t take a dime even though I can be quite persistent. They walked away and told me, “it feels good to help out”! I just had to give them a shout out, and thank them for not only helping me, but showing all of us that today’s youth can be pretty terrific. So, to you two unknown boy’s again thank you for the help and a little doses of hope!
Oh, and lest I forget that this is a photography blog, not a social action blog I will leave you with some pictures of my own 2 teenagers who blessed me with their faces for a mini session in my new studio (as long as I brought the dog, and paid them each $20.00). I obviously still have some work to do on my own kids….
