Only for you my friend… it’s a smaller sneak peak than usual, but what do you want in less than 24 hrs… You may remember these guys from their gorgeous maternity session a few months ago, you know the crazy family that brought the dog “scoutie” along (you do know I’m kidding, I’m a major dog lover myself). Anyway, I knew right away they were more than ready for the changes that were headed their way, and I was right. Such naturals at parenthood right from the start, I think Scoutie may have taught them a thing or two. All I can say is that baby “E” is one lucky little girl. Absolutely gorgeous, and soooooo loved by two parents who are head over heals in love with each other AND…. Mom is one of the owners of the best, most fashionable girls clothing stores on the Main Line… My Kids Corner in Narberth www.mykidskorner.net So, without further ado, I officially introduce the blogging world and facebook to “E’s” first real photo shoot (many more to come)! Little Mr. “J” sure keeps Mom and Dad on their toes. He is 100% full on bundle of energy wrapped up in the cutest little boy! Even the hot weather couldn’t slow him down, I loved how he jammed on his guitar one minute, chased his Dad everywhere and even made Dad kind of crazy by jumping in a dirty puddle and being as happy as could be dirty and wet! Get used to it “S” family it only gets better, faster and forget about clean for at least 12 years!

One of my favorite things about being born and raised right here in the Main Line is the fact that at some point it all comes right back around… Would you believe I went to high school with the mother of these 3 gorgeous guys… ok ok I admit she is a little younger than me but just a little! Well I have not seen her since I graduated (I won’t mention how many years ago) and I swear she hasn’t changed a bit. She is still the same sweet, spunky, fun girl she always was only now she is also an incredibly blessed mother and wife. I just loved getting to know not only the wonderful woman she has become but also meeting her terrific husband and gorgeous boys. Anyone who reads my blog knows how much I miss my own boys while they are away at overnight camp, so for me it was a little bit of time spent amongst the antics of gorgeous, dark haired, dark eyed brothers (it felt like home). All three of these guys are going to be major heartbreakers as you can see by the sneak peak!

Another gorgeous family on a gorgeous night in a gorgeous location… and we deserved it!!! Believe it or not it was over a year ago that Mom “S” contacted me to take pictures of her almost one year old. FIrst little “A” fell and had a scraped up face, then we had major rain, then the biggest snow storm of the season (maybe even decade), next we scheduled for spring and then thought we waited this long… lets try for the beach again. Well, our patience paid off big time! We had the most glorious summer night you could ask for and little “A” was in rare form. Mom swears that he is shy, but take a look for yourself and tell me if you see shy in these images! Mom-mom and Pop-pop were there so if you know anything about me and my relationship with my own grandparents I couldn’t pass that opportunity up. The family say’s it wasn’t planned to have the grandparents in the pictures, but they came out a few minutes after I told them to change and get in some pictures and they had perfectly matching outfits on…. you tell me? I was thrilled, and I think they will be too when they see the great images I have of 
this very happy and lucky family together on a beautiful summer evening!

This young man was one of my younger son’s “best friends” for a short period of time in pre-school (you know how important those pre-school friends can be) and look at him now. Mr. J is a bright, poised, funny, and somewhat dramatic cool guy who is not afraid to hug his Mom (gotta love that). Big sister has turned into a beautiful person herself on the inside as well as the outside and she has an interest in photography (so, I was totally into that). The whole family understands the meaning of giving back and are doing so in a wonderful but difficult way. They have committed to training a “canine companion” in the hopes of enriching someone’s life through the companionship of a dog. What this means is that they train a dog from a puppy for approximately a year and then have to give it back so that it may fulfill it’s job of helping someone in need. Anyone who has a dog, knows how attached a family gets to the canine member of the family, so I really applaud them in this very tough, but very important process. The family wanted not just family pictures, but pictures with the dog they will not be keeping as well as their own family dog. I have to say, this is a family I’m proud to know!
4th of July creative fun!… Philadelphia family photographer goes to the beach!
Well I do have several “real” beach sessions to post from the long weekend, but since these fun images required no editing they come first. I had a great 4th of July weekend spent with wonderful friends and family even though I did miss my children who are away at summer camp. The fireworks this year deserved a little creative fun on my part, so I had a blast playing with long exposures and seeing what kind of cool effects I could create totally “in camera”! None of these shots have been manipulated at all, and although I was a tad unsocial during the fireworks I had soooo much fun. The only issue I had was that I kept looking over to share this with my oldest son (who shares my love of photography, and truth be told… blows me away in the talent department) but he is away at overnight camp so I was in my own little world.. alone (insert sad face). I can’t wait to share some of these with Jason on visiting day!!!

I know I usually only show children, but as a dog owner myself I certainly understand when ones dogs are ones family and these 2 were just too much fun to pass up.
